Kinetic Sculpture in Portland

I recently spent a week carving stone on the Isle of Portland. It was the best fun I’d had in a while and I’m definitely going back soon! The work I made is essentially a stone
drawing machine powered by the wind. It plots the complex harmonic motion generated between two independently oscillating masses.
